During the recent lockdown I was made aware of the symbolic significance of finding a white feather.

A good friend of mine believes that finding one is a sign that her deceased mother is watching over her.

 

A white feathery comfort blanket which brings reassurance and positivity to her own wellbeing

It amazed me how many I found however, instead of picking them up and storing them I photographed them in situ, enabling the background that they nestled in to become part of my image.
